CommonSpirit - Memorial hospitals are experiencing temporary delays in some of their radiology services due to software issues related to our transition to a new radiology services provider. This is affecting appointment availability for certain imaging scans and creating longer wait times for some results.
Dedicated teams across our health system are working around the clock to restore full services as quickly and safely as possible to return to our usual standards of timely care.
The care and safety of our patients remain our absolute highest priority. To help accelerate a resolution and prioritize the most urgent imaging results, we have temporarily paused some non-urgent outpatient imaging services. We are contacting impacted patients directly to reschedule. (Cardiology, vascular and mammography imaging are not affected and continue as usual in both inpatient and outpatient settings.)
We know delays in care can be frustrating and stressful, and we sincerely apologize. For 75 years, our commitment has been to provide high-quality, compassionate care to this community. We take that responsibility seriously and are focused on resolving this issue while keeping patients informed.
