LEXINGTON, Ky. (September 24, 2026) – CommonSpirit Health in Kentucky has announced that Alex Orange, PA-C, has joined CommonSpirit Medical Group - Orthopedic Surgery – East Lexington. Alex strives to help patients to feel comfortable asking questions and empowered to be a part of the healthcare decision making process.
“I believe patients should feel empowered by the healthcare system, rather than restricted by it,” she said. “I hope to ensure my patients feel heard, understood and supported by me. I want my patients to feel comfortable asking questions and feel empowered to be a part of the healthcare decision making process.”
Orange earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Louisville. She did an additional PA Residency year at Duke University. Orange is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
“My favorite part about being a PA is being able to ease fear, offer comfort and improve a patient's experience during some of their toughest days,” she said.
Beyond clinical practice, Orange is passionate about maintaining a balanced lifestyle. She enjoys exercising, traveling, cooking, and cherishing moments with friends and family. These personal interests, she said, not only enrich her life but also contribute to a holistic perspective in patient care, recognizing the importance of overall well-being.
Orange is accepting patients at CommonSpirit Medical Group - Orthopedic Surgery - East Lexington located at 160 N. Eagle Creek Dr, Ste 303. To make an appointment, call (859) 264-9820.
