MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2026) – Saint Joseph Health welcomes Logan Haskins, PA-C, to Saint Joseph Medical Group – Orthopedics in Mount Sterling. A native of Owingsville, Haskins said he was driven to a career in health care to help people struggling with ailments that led to addiction.
“I saw people struggle with addiction and I wanted to help people avoid addiction through better management of their pain,” Haskins said. He comes from a family of caregivers; both his mother and sister are nurses.
Haskins chose to focus on orthopedics in his studies because of the ability to help people with a straightforward fix, whether it’s joint replacement steroid injections or medication.
“When somebody comes in struggling with arthritis, with knee pain … we’re able to help them control pain and give them their lives back,” he said. “We can help with the pain they deal with on a daily basis.”
Haskins earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Morehead State University in 2022 and completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Kentucky in July 2025.
Haskins is excited about joining the Saint Joseph team in Mount Sterling because it is close to his home and also because of the great experience he had working as a student with both Anup Chattha, MD and Robert Coleman, PA-C.
He said he is looking forward to working with patients in his home area. “I like to work with my patients and give them all the options available to them, not pigeon-hole them into one treatment option,” Haskins said. “Ultimately, the patient is the one who is going to make the decision so finding what fits their everyday life will be the most successful treatment.”
Logan Haskins, PA-C, will see patients at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Orthopedics, 624 Maysville Road in Mount Sterling. To schedule an appointment, call (859)-497-4144.
