Memorial Hospital: Top 50 for Cardiovascular Care – 8th Time!

Memorial Hospital proudly named one of Premier's 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals for the 8th time. Delivering leading-edge, trusted heart health services.

CHATTANOOGA, TN (March 2, 2026) - CommonSpirit - Memorial Hospital is once again one of the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals® according to an independent quality analysis based on a balanced scorecard provided by Premier, Inc. and published by Modern Healthcare. This is the eighth time Memorial Hospital has made the list. This year, Memorial Hospital is ranked number one in the Top Teaching Hospitals without a Cardiovascular Residency Program category.

Performance of Hospitals Recognized on 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals List

Compared to peer hospitals, those recognized in the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals delivered better results across all 21 measures, including:

  • Clinical outcomes 

  • Operational efficiency 

  • Patient experience 

The primary purpose of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals program is to provide data-driven benchmarks that hospital leaders can use to better understand performance variation and improve care for heart patients nationwide. To create the list,analysts conducted an objective, quantitative analysis of publicly available data to identify the top cardiovascular hospitals in the United States.  

Hospitals do not apply to participate in the study, and recognized organizations do not pay to market this distinction.
