Saint Joseph London Announces First Birth of 2026

Saint Joseph London welcomed its first baby of 2026, Wesson Grant, with special gifts for Mom and newborn. Learn more about maternity and delivery services.

LONDON, Ky. (Jan. 9, 2026) – At 9:46 a.m. on January 1, Saint Joseph London delivered its first baby of 2026. David and Whitney Eaton from Somerset welcomed Wesson Grant. Wesson weighed 8 lbs 13 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. 

Saint Joseph London Foundation presented the parents with several gifts, including a Radio Flyer wagon, stuffed animal, handmade blankets, sleepers, onesies, bibs, diapers, wipes and other adorable items needed to help Mom and baby start off in the new year. 

In 2025, Saint Joseph London welcomed 1,003 babies.

Established in 1926, the facility serves patients from southeastern Kentucky, including those from Clay, Laurel, Jackson, Whitley, Knox and Pulaski counties.
