Shahar has been with CommonSpirit Health and its predecessor Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) since 2016 and provides investment diligence support for the CommonSpirit Ventures. Prior to his role at CommonSpirit Health, Shahar spent 14 years leading compliance support and financial planning for organizations such as the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, Academy for Educational Development and the Peres Center for Peace.
Shahar brings an international perspective from his past experiences and has witnessed the impact of governance, health initiatives and educational programs in countries such as Nepal, Tunisia, Guinea, Liberia and Israel firsthand.
Shahar holds a BS in Finance and a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Denver.
