Pediatric endocrinologists are internists who have additional training in endocrinology for children. They often treat diabetes and thyroid disorders.

Pediatric endocrinologists can be board-certified through the American Board of Pediatric Endocrinology, which is recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
