Amira B. Zaid, MD

I became a physician to help people live their best lives possible as there is no greater service than to help others. Being a physician has allowed me to help my patients navigate through life changing events such as pregnancy and childbirth and transitions to menopause. Each patient has a story to tell and I am always humbled to hear them. 

I strive to provide care in a compassionate and patient-centered manner while employing evidence-based medicine to ensure her patients get the best care possible. As a Board-Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist, I provide full scope care through all stages of my patient's lives, including adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause. In addition to delivering babies and performing Cesarean sections, I am a gynecologic surgeon and performs laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, minimally invasive hysterectomies, and major abdominal surgeries. I try to infuse humor and kindness into my patient encounters and deeply value the relationships formed with my patients.
