Benjamin Geer, MD, is a faculty physician and orthopedic surgeon at Dignity Health in the East Valley. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, specializing in Orthopaedic Trauma. Dr. Geer earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and neuroscience from Albion College in Albion, Michigan, where he graduated magna cum laude. He went on to earn his doctorate of medicine with distinction from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Geer completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery from the university of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, where he also served as chief resident. He completed his fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the University of California in San Francisco.Dr. Geer cares for patients in the complete spectrum of orthopaedic trauma including acute fractures; patients with multiple injuries; pelvic and acetabular fractures; and post-traumatic reconstruction.
