Dixie McClendon-Coker, MD

Dr. Dixie McClendon-Coker is a board-certified and highly experienced OB/GYN providing comprehensive women's health and maternity care in the East Texas area. Specializing in all aspects of gynecological health, Dr. McClendon-Coker's clinical interests encompass medical management, preventive care, hormone replacement therapy, and obstetrics. She is a dedicated provider at Women's Health and Maternity, committed to serving the healthcare needs of her community with a patient-first approach.

Dr. McClendon-Coker earned her medical degree from the University of Texas - Houston School of Medicine. Before her civilian practice, she honorably served in the Air Force as a flight medicine physician at Barksdale Air Force Base, which included a deployment to Guam. Her extensive experience includes managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, offering a full range of family planning services, and performing minimally-invasive and robotic surgeries for gynecologic conditions.
