Heather Lukusa, NP

Heather Lukusa, DNP has spent the past 13 years working in primary care at a Federally Qualified Health Center in New Jersey. While there, she also served as the Director of Nursing and as the Director of Research for this organization. She served as the sub-Investigator on multiple medical research studies and has been published in The Diabetes Educator. Ms. Lukusa previously was the co-chair of the Ending the HIV Epidemic of Hudson County and sat on the HIV Planning Council. Currently, she serves on various Quality Improvement, Credentialing, and Utilization committees for a medical insurance company. She provides preventative care, annual wellness exams, well woman exams, chronic disease management, and sick visits. Ms. Lukusa is happy to be back home on the Central Coast and spend most of her free time running after her active daughter.
