Jason Brannen, MD, is a fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeon specializing in minimally invasive, muscle-sparing hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Brannen's educational journey began in his hometown of Roswell, New Mexico. He earned his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in 1999, followed by medical school at UT Medical Branch Galveston. His postgraduate training included a comprehensive Orthopedic Surgery residency at Texas A&M Scott & White, which he completed in 2011 after serving as Chief Resident. Further refining his expertise, Dr. Brannen pursued advanced fellowship training. In 2012, he attended the Florida Orthopedic Institute Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program, where he focused specifically on complex joint replacement procedures. It was during this fellowship that he received the distinguished Fellow Award, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication in this highly specialized field.
