Mark Gendi, DO

I originally grew up in Clear Lake (suburb of Houston) and attending Houston Christian University where I played division I college soccer and obtained a Bachelors in Science in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. I went on to attend medical school at Kansas City University (KCU) along with residency at HCA/KCU in Kansas City, Missouri. Lastly, I completed an Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee replacement) fellowship at the University of Louisville Kentucky. I am passionate about total joint replacements regarding shoulders, hips, and knees. My goal is to come to a collaborative assessment and plan with the patient regarding a way to provide them relief from the pain they may be experiencing. I am also passionate about the use of Robotics in joint replacement. I believe Robotic assisted total joint replacement allows for the patient to obtain a specific alignment of the operative joint that best matches their native anatomy. This will aid in their post operative recovery and function.
