Megan Lodeiro, MD

Megan Lodeiro, MD, is a fellowship-trained general surgeon specializing in bariatric and general surgery. She performs a wide range of surgeries including hernia repair, gallbladder removal, colon surgery, hiatal hernia repair, gastric surgery, and all types of bariatric surgeries: sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch, single anastomosis duodenal ileal bypass, and lap band removal. Dr. Lodeiro also offers median arcuate ligament release. She treats conditions such as obesity, gallbladder disease, hernia, median arcuate ligament syndrome, dysphagia, and recurrent hernias.

Dr. Lodeiro's training includes a Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Peachtree Surgical and Bariatrics in Atlanta, GA, and a General Surgery Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition.
