As a young child, I remember telling my parents I wanted to be a doctor, just like my father.  While he specialized in pathology, I decided that primary care was better suited to my goals of helping people stay healthy, caring for the sick, and maintaining the dignity of all people. I believe in always listening carefully to the patient.
