Care philosophy: Caring for patients has always been deeply meaningful to me. I have always known that helping others was my "calling." To me, healthcare is about more than diagnoses and treatments; it is about connecting with people on a deeper level. I strive to be a compassionate presence, especially during vulnerable moments, ensuring my patients feel heard, supported, and respected. Every patient and visit is unique, and I’m constantly reminded of how powerful empathy and trust can be in the healing process. At the end of the day, it’s the trust, gratitude, and shared moments of connection that remind me why I love what I do. Why I became a medical provider: I became a medical provider because of a lifelong desire to help others. Coming from a nursing background, I knew I wanted to advance my career as either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). I began my journey as an RN at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, where I spent three and a half years working in a high-volume, fast paced environment. While I loved being an RN, I felt a pull to understand disease processes more deeply and to treat illnesses from a different perspective. In 2012, my grandmother's battle with end-stage liver disease and her subsequent transition to hospice profoundly impacted me. Navigating that time as both an NP student and a family member allowed me to see healthcare from both sides of the bedside. Seeing the impact healthcare professionals had on my grandmother's life and the lives of those close to her further inspired my path. I love the balance between the science and art of medicine, and I find true purpose in making a meaningful difference in someone’s well-being. I am grateful for the trust my patients place in me, and I’m committed to continual learning to provide the best care possible.
