Randy Richardson, MD

Randy Richardson, MD, is a Faculty Physician and Academic Chairman with Dignity Health Medical Group in the department of Radiology at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.Dr. Richardson’s clinical research focuses on cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography angiography (CTA), magnetic resonance arthrography and genitography in children, imaging of segmental liver transplantation, web-based resident teaching, and transcranial doppler.Dr. Richardson has written more than 30 chapters in radiology and cardiology textbooks and recently published an atlas of cardiac CTA with Springer Publishing Company. He has given lectures on cardiac imaging throughout the world. Dr. Richardson is a board examiner for the American Board of Radiology and in 2013 was voted one of the top 7 radiologists in the Phoenix area by Phoenix Magazine in a survey of 5,000 local physicians.Dr. Richardson earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He then did a radiology residency at David Grant Medical Center in northern California before completing his pediatric radiology fellowship at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center.
