Our focus is on standard lab testing. If your doctor orders specialized tests, we can process these for you or guide you to the appropriate facility.

Most tests do not require an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome during our regular business hours.

Preparation depends on the test. Some blood tests, like fasting glucose or cholesterol panels, may require fasting for 12-14 hours. Follow your doctor’s instructions for the best results.

We provide most standard lab tests, including blood tests to assess blood sugar, cholesterol levels, electrolytes and anemia. Our services also include microbiology and molecular testing. Additionally, we provide urine tests to detect urinary tract infections and diabetes.

The CHI Memorial Ooltewah lab is proud to hold an accreditation from the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), reflecting our commitment to quality and safety.

Test results are sent directly to your healthcare provider and can be viewed through MyChart. For additional information, please contact your doctor’s office. If you need a paper copy, you can obtain one from Health Information Services at the main campus by calling (423) 495-8285.
