Most imaging exams take about 15 minutes to one hour, depending on the test. While you may need to lie still or change into a gown, we focus on making your experience safe and comfortable, using the lowest radiation doses possible.
You can typically view your imaging results through your patient portal (former MD Imaging patients can access their patient portal here). We recommend discussing your results with your health care provider, who can explain what your test results mean for your health.
Many imaging exams are covered by insurance, but coverage can vary by plan and test. We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific coverage details before your appointment.
Some scans require fasting. Follow your care team’s instructions, especially if contrast dye is used.
