At Express Lab – St. Luke's Health Memorial in Lufkin, we offer fast, accurate, and confidential lab testing; no appointment or doctor’s order needed. Most results are available within 24 hours. Located on the St. Luke’s Health – Memorial campus, Express Lab provides a full range of tests, including screenings for diabetes, cholesterol, gout and more. Wellness panels for men and women are also available to help identify conditions that may affect your heart, thyroid, kidneys or metabolism. All tests are processed through the hospital’s certified laboratory for trusted results.

Express Lab offers a wide range of affordable tests; no appointment needed. Options include diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, liver, pregnancy and wellness panels, with prices starting at $17. Full test list and pricing available upon request or in-office.

Most tests do not require an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome during our regular business hours.

Express Lab offers a “stat service,” which allows you to receive your results the same day as your service. If the specimen is collected before 1 p.m. you can receive your results before the end of the day. A fee of $25 applies to “stat service” tests.

Preparation depends on the test. Some blood tests, like fasting glucose or cholesterol panels, may require fasting for 12-14 hours. Follow your doctor’s instructions for the best results.

Our focus is on standard lab testing. If your doctor orders specialized tests, we can process these for you or guide you to the appropriate facility.

Many standard blood and urine tests are covered by insurance. We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific coverage details.
