Insurance acceptedNeurologists and neurosurgeons diagnose and treat conditions affecting your brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Some of the conditions they treat include:
Autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis and Guillain-Barré Syndrome
Back injuries or pain
Brain tumors such as acoustic neuromas and secondary brain tumors
Chronic headaches and migraine headaches
Infection-related conditions such as meningitis and encephalitis
Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders
Neurologists diagnose and manage neurological conditions nonsurgically. Neurosurgeons are trained to perform surgical procedures for conditions requiring intervention in the brain, spine or peripheral nerves.
You should consider seeing a neurologist if you experience persistent headaches, seizures, dizziness, memory loss, numbness, weakness or other unexplained neurological symptoms.
Your primary care physician may refer you to a neurosurgeon if you have an imaging test showing abnormalities in your brain or spine, or persistent neurological symptoms such as:
Numbness or weakness in your limbs
Seizures
Severe back or neck pain
It depends on your insurance plan. Some insurance providers require a referral from your primary care physician, while others allow you to schedule an appointment directly. We recommend checking with your insurance provider or contacting our office for assistance.
Your provider will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and evaluate any imaging studies. They may perform a neurological exam or order additional tests to confirm a diagnosis. If they have enough information, they will discuss potential treatment options, which may include surgical and nonsurgical approaches. In some cases, they may request you return for a follow-up visit after additional tests are complete.
We offer secure online access to your health information, making it easier and more convenient to manage your care. With portal access, you can communicate with your doctor, access test results, request prescription refills and manage appointments. We’re here to simplify your health care journey and put your needs first.
We accept most major insurance plans. All insurance copays, coinsurance and deductibles are due at the time of service. Please be prepared to settle these before you leave our office.
To ensure accurate billing and timely communication, please inform our receptionist of any changes to your address, phone number or insurance information. This helps us file claims correctly and avoid unnecessary billing issues.
