Dr. Areej Sami Joins CHI Memorial Surgical Oncology - Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN (November 6, 2025) - CHI Memorial Medical Group is pleased to welcome Areej Sami, MD, to CHI Memorial Surgical Oncology Associates.  Dr. Sami received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.  She completed a general surgery residency at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Advocate Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and Society of Surgical Oncology.

Dr. Sami joins R. Hunter Jennings, MD, FACS; Justin Wilkes, MD, board-certified, fellowship-trained complex general surgical oncologist; Gerri Black, PA-C; Brooke Henderson, FNP-C; and Anna Towner, PA-C, at CHI Memorial Surgical Oncology Associates.
