CommonSpirit Welcomes Corey Manson, MD to Orthopedics Practice

Chattanooga native Dr. H. Corey Manson provides surgical and nonsurgical treatment for common joint issues and complex musculoskeletal injuries, and is now accepting new patients.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (October 1, 2026) – Orthopedic surgeon and Chattanooga native H. Corey Manson, MD, has joined CommonSpirit Medical Group - Orthopedics.

A graduate of the Baylor School, Dr. Manson provides surgical and nonsurgical treatment for conditions affecting shoulders, elbows, hands, hips, knees and ankles. He also treats sports-related injuries and manages orthopedic trauma, including fractures and complex musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Manson earned his medical degree from East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a lieutenant commander in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Navy and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys homesteading, church, coaching wrestling, hunting and fishing with his family.

Dr. Manson joins orthopedic surgeon Masoud Hamidian, MD, at CommonSpirit Medical Group - Orthopedics. Together, they provide care for injuries and conditions impacting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles. They are currently accepting new patients.
