St. Joseph Health Earns AHA Mission: Lifeline® Awards

Bryan, TX – January 15, 2026 - St. Joseph Health has been recognized by the American Heart Association with multiple awards for its dedication to providing high-quality care for patients experiencing heart attacks and strokes. These awards highlight St. Joseph Health's commitment to following evidence-based guidelines and improving patient outcomes.

The following awards were received:

  • GOLD PLUS - Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Receiving Gold Plus with Target: Type 2 Diabetes
  • GOLD PLUS - Stroke Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite with Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll
  • GOLD - Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI Gold with Target: Type 2 Diabetes

"These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our physicians, nurses, and staff who are committed to providing the best possible care for our patients," said Monte Bostwick, St. Joseph Health President and CEO. The American Heart Association's "Get With The Guidelines" program recognizes hospitals for their commitment to adherence to the latest research-driven guidelines and measurements and for providing high-quality care for patients with heart disease and stroke. Gold Plus recognition is given  for consistent performance over a 24-month period or more.
