Dawn M. Benford, PMHNP

Dawn M. Benford, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Psychiatry at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  Dawn's expertise involves the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders in the medically ill patient. She is a member of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, American College of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.Dawn received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from University of Arizona.
