Keith Cavaness, DO, FACS

Dr. Cavaness is a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeon deeply committed to providing specialized, high-level surgical care to Northern California. Born and raised in Chico, Dr. Cavaness is proud to serve the North State community. He earned his medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing a comprehensive general surgery residency at Michigan State University-Sparrow Hospital.

Following residency, Dr. Cavaness completed advanced fellowship training in transplant surgery at Baylor University Medical Center and one year of surgical oncology-focused training at Washington University in St. Louis. He brings a wealth of oncologic surgical experience to the greater Northern California region to help expand care in the area.
