We bring a wide range of cardiac diagnostic services to Chandler and the surrounding communities. These tests help us evaluate your heart function, identify issues and create a treatment plan for conditions like heart disease. Our noninvasive diagnostic tests include:

• Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG), checks for problems with the electrical activity of your heart 

• Echocardiogram, a type of ultrasound that evaluates how your heart muscle and valves are working 

• Cardiac stress tests, monitors how your heart functions while exercising or under exertion 

• Nuclear medication scan, helps identify damaged heart muscle and assesses blood flow to and from your heart

Our specialists also perform heart catheterization to check for problems in the coronary arteries and heart valves. Our electrophysiologists identify abnormal heart rhythms like arrhythmia.

Yes. If you have been diagnosed with heart disease, our cardiac rehabilitation can support your heart health. Your cardiologist or primary care doctor can refer you to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at Chandler Regional Medical Center. Our cardiac rehab program includes:

• Phase I: Lifestyle awareness: Our specialists will identify lifestyle factors you can change) and create a personalized treatment plan.

• Phase II: Outpatient rehabilitation: You will visit the hospital three times a week for a one-hour, monitored exercise program designed specifically for you.

• Phase III: Maintenance: This is a self-pay program that allows you to continue an unmonitored exercise routine two times per week. If you are at a high risk of developing heart disease, you may participate with a doctor's referral.

Our cardiovascular clinical trials explore new treatments for heart conditions. If studies show that these treatments or devices are safe and effective, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) may approve them for public use.
