Our cardiac rehabilitation is a medically supervised exercise and education program for cardiac patients who are no longer in the hospital. Adult functional independence test (AFIT):
This comprehensive, one-on-one assessment administered by a licensed occupational or physical therapist evaluates flexibility, strength, balance, posture and endurance. Your results are compared to age- and sex-based norms, and you’ll receive a personalized exercise program based on your assessment. Free monthly blood pressure screenings:
Community-based blood pressure screenings are offered at local senior and community centers throughout Redwood City, Menlo Park, Belmont, Redwood Shores and San Carlos. Screenings are conducted by a community health registered nurse, and you’ll have the opportunity to review and discuss your results. These screenings are free and held on a rotating monthly schedule at various locations.
