There is a four-step process to becoming a volunteer at Brazosport Hospital:
Adult volunteers must commit to volunteer a minimum of six hours per month. The greatest benefit of volunteering at St. Luke's Health Brazosport is the personal satisfaction that comes from making a patient’s stay a little easier. Additional benefits include free parking and access to free educational programs and seminars.
The Junior Volunteer Program at Brazosport Hospital gives teens ages 14–18 a chance to serve in different departments throughout the hospital. Volunteers play an important role in supporting patients, families, and staff, while building valuable experience and confidence.
Volunteers are assigned to various areas of the hospital based on need each year. All applicants will go through an interview process. Those selected will be contacted and must attend a mandatory orientation in June.
