Our team helps diagnose breast cancer using the latest technology and image-guided biopsy services. We offer:

We created Share the Care to increase community members’ access to breast care. Through the program, we offer:

• Free mammography and support services for people who qualify for financial assistance through the YRMC Foundation’s Breast Care Fund
• Breast cancer risk assessments from our clinical navigators
• Community education about the importance of getting a mammogram every year

You may be eligible for Share the Care services if you:

• Are between the ages of 40 and 64
• Don’t have adequate health insurance or have a high copay or deductible
• Don’t qualify for AHCCCS (Arizona’s Medicaid)
• Don’t qualify for the Well Woman HealthCheck Program through Arizona’s Department of Health Services
• Can’t afford the cost of digital mammography screening

Breast cancer risk assessments are available to everyone in our community (including men). One of our clinical navigators will assess if you’re at low, average or high risk for breast cancer. Their assessment includes:

• Personal and family history of breast and ovarian cancers
• Hormone exposure and supplementation
• Lifestyle factors (exercise, weight, diet or alcohol use)
• Number of pregnancies

After your assessment, you and your primary care doctor will get a report summarizing your breast cancer risk along with recommendations from our team. Call (928) 442-8841 for more information.
