The Dignity Health Kids Care Clinic provides full-service pediatric care to newborns, infants, children, teens and families in the Merced community. Our team includes nurse practitioners, skilled nurses, a board-certified pediatrician and OB/GYNs. We provide non-emergency care, including:

Our clinic accepts walk-ins Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The clinic is closed on Sunday. From the moment of your arrival, our care team is ready to support you with expertise and humankindness.
Our OB/GYNs provide care during pregnancy and support women’s health needs at every stage of life.

Back-to-school physicals – An annual back-to-school physical is an opportunity to assess a child's health and discuss any health concerns.
Diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses – This includes ear infections, colds, bronchitis, flu, sinus infections, skin infections, stomach bugs and strep throat.
Diagnosis and treatment of chronic illnesses – This includes allergies, anemia, asthma, epilepsy and cystic fibrosis.
Treatment of skin conditions – This includes acne, eczema and hives.
Hearing screenings – Routine hearing tests can detect hearing concerns as a child grows.
Nutritional counseling – We provide nutritional counseling based on factors such as age, eating habits, food allergies or intolerances and activity level.

At Mercy’s Kids Care Clinic, we prioritize your child’s health and offer care for everyone regardless of ability to pay. We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal-CHDP and most insurance plans. If you're uninsured, ask about our sliding fee scale; your cost is based on your income.
We strive to see all children as quickly as possible. For walk-ins, wait times depend on current patient volume. Your child's comfort and well-being are our priority.

Yes, we typically send a summary of your child’s visit to their pediatrician or referring health care provider. This helps keep your child’s care team informed about the visit and any treatment recommendations, which is important for ongoing care.
