Most imaging exams take about 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the test. The exams are generally safe, use the lowest necessary radiation and are usually painless. You may need to lie still or change into a gown.
For many exams, like X-rays, no preparation is needed. However some tests, including CT scans or MRIs that use contrast dye, may require you to avoid eating or drinking beforehand. We will share specific instructions before your appointment.
You can typically view your imaging results through your patient portal. We recommend discussing your results with your health care provider, who can explain what your test results mean for your health.
Many imaging exams are covered by insurance, but coverage can vary by plan and test. We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific coverage details before your appointment.
We are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule, call (602) 406-0280. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
