Yes. With modern technologies at their fingertips, our surgeons have expertise in many types of traditional and minimally invasive surgery, which often results in less scarring and faster healing. These include:
Laparoscopy, which uses small “keyhole” cuts and a camera to perform operations in the abdomen
Endoscopy, which uses the body’s natural openings and a camera to perform the procedure
Robotic surgery, which uses a series of tiny incisions and very small surgical instruments
A colonoscopy examines your colon and rectum for polyps or cancer. We recommend starting screenings by age 45 if you are at average risk, or earlier if you have a family history of colorectal cancer.
