Expanded care to our North Georgia communities
CommonSpirit is expanding its commitment to North Georgia with the opening of Memorial Hospital - North Georgia on January 11, 2026. This new 135,000 square-foot facility, conveniently located near I-75, will offer 64 inpatient beds (including an ICU), a 24-bed emergency department, five operating rooms, and for moments for reflection, our chapel provides a peaceful sanctuary. Our advanced services include comprehensive imaging, cardiac diagnostics, cancer care and laboratory services, alongside a wide range of surgical specialties, including breast, general, gastrointestinal, orthopedic and urologic surgery.
Serving Catoosa, Walker, Dade, and surrounding counties, the hospital will create a unified campus with the existing Memorial Parkway building, MaryEllen Locher Breast Center, Rees Skillern Cancer Institute and The Chattanooga Heart Institute, bringing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care closer to home.
For more than 25 years, Memorial has been dedicated to the health of North Georgia, and this new hospital represents a significant step in providing accessible, high-quality health care closer to home.
