Since 1931, St. Bernardine Medical Center has proudly served our community, growing into an award-winning 342-bed, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors.
Here, you’ll find expert physicians and staff, advanced technology and a team committed to helping you heal. From maternity and family care to our nationally recognized Inland Empire Heart and Vascular Institute and surgical weight loss program, we’re here to support your health at every stage of life.
Together with our sister hospital, Community Hospital of San Bernardino, we’re honored to be part of this community and proud to be recognized locally and nationally for our commitment to quality, safety and healing.
We’re here to make your visit as smooth, safe and comfortable as possible. Enjoy the convenience of on-site parking, language assistance and spiritual care, along with dining options and flexible visiting hours designed with you in mind.
We know every journey to health and wellness is different. Whether you need cost estimates, financial assistance, help paying bills or information about accepted insurance plans, we’re here to guide you and make the process simple and reassuring.
Visitors are a valued part of our patients’ care team, and your safety is important to us. To support that connection, we welcome up to two visitors at a time for each patient 24 hours a day, though minors must be accompanied by an adult (other than the patient) at all times.
Please note that our ICU closes during shift changes, between 6:30–8 a.m. and 6:30–8 p.m. Please wash your hands often and avoid visiting if you’re sick. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, healing environment for all patients and families.

By providing your information ahead of time, you’ll save time and reduce stress on the day of your appointment or admission.
