Dignity Health Medical Group Pelvic Pain and Surgery - St Joseph's

Dignity Health Medical Group Advanced Gynecologic Surgery provides care for patients with gynecologic conditions. Our surgeons are board-certified and completed fellowship training in complex benign gynecologic surgery. They have also met the requirements for focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Our surgeons treat conditions including endometriosis, uterine fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding. They provide surgical and nonsurgical care for a range of cases. Using specialized training, our surgeons perform procedures with minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopy and robotic-assisted surgery. These methods are associated with shorter hospital stays and fewer complications.

Our team provides care for patients with endometriosis. We use a multidisciplinary approach that includes partnering with radiology for focused imaging and disease assessment. For patients who require surgery, our surgeons are trained in excision. We also collaborate with specialists in colorectal surgery, urology, cardiothoracic surgery and hernia repair when necessary. We listen to your concerns, provide clinical care and work with you to create a treatment plan.
