Dignity Health - St. John's Regional Medical Center

Founded in 1912, St. John's Regional Medical Center is a 365-bed hospital located in Oxnard, California. Together with our sister hospital, St. John’s Hospital Camarillo, we are the largest provider of nonprofit health care in Ventura County, collectively caring for nearly 140,000 patients each year.

Designated as a STEMI Receiving Center, we are highly recognized for excellence in heart care, and are the only certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in Ventura County. Our cancer center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We are also home to the only all-private room, Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in Ventura County.

Patients and visitors

Our goal is to ensure all patients are cared for in a safe environment and their health needs are met continuously. Our spiritual services, language assistance and daily cafeteria service are just some of the ways we make your visit as stress-free as possible.
