The Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Center at St. John’s Regional Medical Center is here to support all aspects of your recovery from an illness, injury or surgery. You’ll find comprehensive rehabilitation services from a team of licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and neurological (cognitive) rehabilitation specialists.
We recognize that no two conditions are exactly alike, and no two people respond to the same therapy. We begin with a thorough evaluation to understand your unique needs and goals. Based on this, we create a personalized rehabilitation program designed to help reduce pain and improve strength, movement and independence.
We provide personalized therapy for conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord or nerves. Cognitive rehabilitation focuses on improving thinking, movement, quality of life and independence.
We create personalized exercise and educational programs for people recovering from a heart attack, heart surgery or other cardiovascular conditions.
Occupational therapists focus on helping you accomplish daily activities. They work with you to help improve your independence and overall quality of life.
We know every journey to health and wellness is different. Whether you need cost estimates, financial assistance, help paying bills or information about accepted insurance plans, we’re here to guide you and help make the process as simple and reassuring as possible.
